BREAKFORMED DRYWALL FRAMES

Baron’s breakformed drywall frames are offered in knockdown form or welded and can be engineered to meet specific architectural requirements for a wide range of uses.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • 18 gauge (1.2) or 16 gauge (1.5) galvanneal steel
  • For use with 1 ¾" (45) doors (steel or wood)
  • Available jamb sizes from 4 ½" up to 12 3/4"
  • Prepared for 9/32" silencer holes
  • All jambs complete with base and center strap anchors and an adjustable top tension anchor

ROLLFORMED DRYWALL FRAMES

18 Gauge for 1¾" Door

Baron’s standard knockdown frames are designed for easy installation in drywall partition systems after the walls have been erected. Their fabrication ensures a tight fit, positive anchoring and precise square and plumb field assembly.

  • 18 gauge (1.2) galvanneal steel
  • For use with 1¾" (45) doors (steel or wood)
  • Available in wall sizes: 3 ½ ", 4 5/8" 4 7/8"
  • Prepared for 9/32 silencer holes
  • All jambs complete with base and center strap anchors and an adjustable top tension anchor
  • All frames made to Baron’s standard hinge and strike location.
22 Gauge for 1-3/8" Door

Baron’s knockdown residential frames are designed with overlapping mitred corners for a clean and accurate finish. The rabbet width and height are oversized to accept standard size 1 3/8" hollow core wood doors with minimal machining requirement.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • 22 gauge (.76) galvanneal steel
  • For use with 1 3/8" (38) doors
  • Available in wall sizes: 2 5/8" 3 ½", 4 5/8" and 4 7/8"
  • Prepared for 3/16 silencer holes (silencers included)
  • All jambs complete with base and center strap anchors and an adjustable top tension anchor
  • All frames prepared and supplied with one pair of 3½" x 3 ½" hinges C4 finish
  • All strike jambs prepared for colonial or standard slab door

EXPANDABLE DRYWALL FRAMES

Baron’s expandable drywall frames offer optimum versatility due to its unique design with over 3 inches of expansion to accommodate various wall thicknesses. Frames are available knockdown for easy field installation after walls have been erected.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • 18 gauge (1.2) or 16 gauge (1.5) galvanneal steel
  • For use with 1 ¾" (45) doors (steel or wood)
  • Adjustable from 5 ½" to 8 ¾"
  • Prepared for 9/32" silencer holes
  • Prepared to receive countersunk screws #7 x 2 ½ (included)
  • Prepared with 12 gauge A.S.A. strike reinforcing
  • Prepared with 1 ½ pairs of high frequency 10 gauge 4 ½" hinge reinforcement
  • Height available: 6’8", 7’0" or 8'0"
